Oxford University Press is proud to unveil a dramatically new Oxford English Dictionary Online, relaunched with improved functionality, design and a significant amount of new content, including the acclaimed Historical Thesaurus of the OED, all at no additional cost.

Heritage Free Newspaper Microfilm Digitization Partnerships

Heritage Microfilm is currently partnering with select public, state, and academic libraries to digitize their newspaper microfilm for free. Heritage will digitize any off-copyright newspapers (typically those dated prior to 1978) that they do not currently hold. Partner libraries are given free, searchable access to the content through http://access.newspaperarchive.com in perpetuity. Partners also receive the searchable digital images on a hard drive to use however you wish. This really is a win/win.
