Hands-on Copyright Workshop for K-12 Environments and Classroom Uses
In today’s media-saturated culture, copyright considerations are all around us. From how to access materials for the classroom to helping students understand the concept of intellectual property, there is a lot you need to know. Plan to attend this day-long, in-person workshop to give you the foundation to feel more confident in this complex information landscape we live in. Attendees will learn about their rights (and responsibilities) as educators, including specific exceptions allowed for classroom use of copyrighted materials, and discuss the concept of fair use and how to apply it to an educational environment.
