Exploring Identities: Diversity in Faith
Description
Faith and religion play important roles in society by providing meaning and purpose to life and legitimizing values and norms that reinforce social unity and shape the psychological and physical well-being of the group members and society.
Religious diversity and its awareness can help develop deeper and richer understanding among employees in a workplace and help perpetuate acceptance, compassion, and appreciation of differences in everyone. In this session, participants will discuss concepts of faith as it applies to religious diversity while developing skills to mitigate religious bias and advocate for equitable treatment of different groups.
