OhioNet Launches Central Licensing for E-Resources
OhioNet has embarked on a new strategic program with our e-resource portfolio. We have begun a multi-year initiative to negotiate central licenses for all of our publishing products. OhioNet has not historically negotiated central licenses in the past, but we believe this action will provide crucial value to our members as we move forward in these challenging times. We hope this will help save your library time and effort, eliminating the need for you to negotiate any licensing terms, or wrangle the license through your procurement department. This will be provided as a new member benefit — there will be no change to the OhioNet administrative fee as a result of our licensing negotiations.
Please note: By approving your renewal in ConsortiaManager, your institution agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of the central license agreement. It is our hope that our license meets your institutional needs. If not, please email Hannah Rosen, Director of Member Programs at [email protected], and she can work with you to create an amendment that would be satisfactory for your library.
