The shift to remote education in response to the COVID-19 pandemic has raised numerous questions with librarians and educators about how we can lawfully provide students with online access to copyrighted works.

In this free 90-minute webinar we’ll explore options for lawfully using protected works as part of remote and blended instruction. Participants in this session will have the opportunity to:

  • Discuss copyright considerations specific to educational and online environments
  • Explore options for lawfully connecting students with protected works online
  • Review the four factors of fair use and how they can be applied to educational contexts
  • Examine common copyright questions and scenario
