Diverse Reads and Resources for Growing Lifelong Readers
Thursday, 11/4 | 2-3:30 p.m.
Presenter: Desiree Thomas (Worthington Libraries)
Studies often show that once kids and young adults lose interest in reading, it is extremely hard to get them back into this life-changing habit. Providing interesting diverse titles with subjects from different backgrounds can help keep reluctant readers engaged. In this session, attendees will explore a wide variety of resources and titles to encourage and support reluctant or struggling readers to keep them on the path to lifelong readership.
