OhioNET Opens Training Archive to All Members During COVID-19 Outbreak

With the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic forcing many libraries and information centers to cancel programming or shut their doors temporarily, OhioNET is offering free access to our training archive of webinar recordings for all members.

Libraries across the country are facing unprecedented uncertainty. At OhioNET, we share the concern of library staff doing their best to navigate the COVID-19 challenge on behalf of their communities. We know that many libraries have already made the difficult decision to pause services or close temporarily and are now facing reduced hours or remote work.

To aid with this transition, OhioNET is opening its Training Archive â€” a repository of the last 12 months of recorded webinars and professional development resources â€” to all member institutions through June 30, 2020.

Topics covered in the archive touch on all five of our Continuing Education (CE) Training Tracks: Cultivating Connections, Fundamentals of Cataloging, Data Analysis & Assessment, Preservation & Access, and Reference Skills & Resources. Many of the archived webinars qualify for CE credit. To claim CE credit after viewing a webinar, fill out the form here. Please allow one week for OhioNET to process your submission. After we verify your participation, your CE Certificate will be emailed to you.

To access the Training Archive, use your OhioNET website login to view webinars in the archive. Not sure if you have an account with our website? Head to www.ohionet.org/user to create an account or reset your password. If you already know your OhioNET website login, you can visit the archive directly at www.ohionet.org/OHN-training-archive.

As always, if you have questions about the Training Archive, or any other OhioNET service, please contact us at [email protected] or 800-686-8975. We are here to help!
