Vendor Responses to the COVID-19 Crisis
Recognizing that libraries globally are being asked to support eLearning in new and different ways in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the International Coalition of Library Consortia (ICOLC), of which OhioNET is a member, is compiling a list of the ways in which information services providers are addressing the ongoing crisis. Vendor responses range from enabling unlimited access to providing certain products and collections at no cost for a specified period.
This list is being updated daily as more information services providers’ actions are communicated. It is our hope that this timely information will be of value to the OhioNET community in supporting electronic access to necessary resources in this uncertain time. View-only access to the spreadsheet is available here: https://tinyurl.com/COVID19vendresps.
In conjunction with the compilation of vendor response information, ICOLC has released a statement on the global COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on library services and resources. The statement may be in read in its entirety here.
As always, OhioNET remains committed to supporting the community’s success. Please reach out to us with any questions or concerns — we are happy to help!
